Task

The audition project #SEREBROBQCASTING was launched at Maxim Fadeev’s Instagram account on the 2nd of October, 2018. It was a joint project with BQ brand, the whole point of which was to find a new member for SEREBRO band, using Instagram hashtags.

Ideas and solutions

Female-contestants were supposed to record and to post cover videos of SEREBRO band and hashatagged those in order to get noticed. Another strict rule was to specify their age and weight in the post description field. Online audition has lasted for a month. Eventually, 3 lucky contestants were chosen to fight for pursuing their dream of becoming a singer for a world famous band. Girls were supposed to workout before the cameras to prove their endurance, they were also polygraphed and participated in promo shooting in order to make sure they look would look good in pictures. Also a make-up challenge took place. A total of 5 videos were shot and went viral (over 4MM views). 10 000 (ten thousand) media-clippings about casting call. 20 000 (twenty thousand) requests were received in total
