Task

Create apartment presentation and sales tools for a new residential building to be constructed in Leipzig, Germany. The list of tools includes a promo site, architectural 3D visualizations of building exterior and interior, a 360° virtual tour, and a VR app.

Ideas and solutions

The target group (property developers) imposes somewhat conflicting requirements to real estate promotion materials. A promo site for this market segment must have enough eye candy to immediately attract potential buyers and, at the same time, be simple enough to navigate, so that busy (and often elderly) visitors always find what they are looking for. Moreover, such a site has to pack all the information a customer would need to decide to contact the sales team. The promo site that we have created meets all of these requirements. The main page shows a view of the building and is full of interactive elements. In particular, site visitors can rotate the view and even change time of day to see how the building looks at night. Clicking a floor opens its plan where one can: · browse individual apartment plans, · find out which apartments are for sale, · experience apartment virtual tours, · move between floors. Each apartment has its own page with information and a virtual tour. For customers in need of complete immersion, there is a VR app that lets them walk around apartments by means of VR goggles. https://www.oculus.com/experiences/gear-vr/1278997645522490/ Beautifully designed interiors and carefully laid out floor plans propel site visitors towards pleasant thoughts about furnishing newly purchased apartments. Visualization of visitors’ wishes is crucially important for influencing buying decisions. Appealing interiors convert visitors to customers who want “an apartment like that”. Every site page shows contact buttons that let visitors send messages to and request calls back from the sales team. At any given moment, visitors are one click away from initiating a purchase.
