Task
Purpose and objectives of the project – Longread was created in order to promote the work of Moscow Government in metro construction since 2011. Its purpose is to draw attention of the population to the subject of metro construction, show and tell about open stations and those under construction, as well as about the technologies in use.
Ideas and solutions
Ideas and solutions – Special project will tell about all the new stations and construction technologies. Users will see an interactive metro map showing the depth of every station of the Moscow Metro. They will also learn about changes in the architecture of the metro since 1931 as well as about construction and expansion of six metro lines. They will be able to see unique photos and videos, metro sectional view and work technique of a tunnel-boring machine. A test at the end will help one assess their knowledge about the Moscow Metro
